CORE IS COMMITTED TO A MORE SUSTAINABLE FUTURE, STARTING
WITH A TRANSITION TO 100% RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
Core Hydration bottles are now made of previously recycled plastics*. Meaning no new or virgin plastic will be created to make our bottles. That’s a step in the right direction!
PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a sciency name for one of the most widely used plastics in beverage containers. When it's recycled and made into new products, you get recycled PET (rPET)! That's the only plastic you’ll find in our bottles now.
It’s the same bottle you know and love, but now in a more sustainable package. So you can feel a little bit better about what you drink and how you choose to hydrate along your path to wellness.
*Excludes label and cap
HOW DO RECYCLED PLASTICS HELP*?
Transitioning to recycled plastic bottles is a critical initial step in our commitment to a circular economy. By moving to recycled plastic, here are 3 ways Core Hydration helps to make a difference.
Saves over 12 million
pounds of virgin plastic.
Replaces over 160 million
bottles with recycled plastic.
Saves an estimated 9,800
metric tons of CO2e a year
based on 2019 volume.
*statistics are specific to Core Hydration and are based on annualized volume
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
To keep the plastic within the circular economy, it’s
important to recycle your bottle once you’re done.
So toss an empty bottle with its cap on into your recycling bin, and it might end up becoming a new recycled plastic product. It could even become a new bottle of Core Hydration. What a journey!
